APM United Kingdom
APM graduated to international company status in October 2010 when we opened our first office in the UK. Since then, APM has embarked on a process of translating our outstanding track record in Australia to service delivery in the UK. APM UK delivers contracts on behalf of the UK Government and also holds a number of sub-contracts with prime providers in the UK. The services we deliver in the UK include:
APM UK delivers assessments to individuals who wish to claim the Personal Independence Payment (PIP). This benefit can help towards some of the extra costs arising from a long-term health condition or disability and it is based on how a person's condition affects them, rather than the condition itself. It is not means-tested or subject to tax and is payable to both people who are in work or out of work. APM UK delivers this contract across the West Midlands and East Midlands.
APM was awarded the first social impact bond-type contract in the UK. Under this contract, we deliver a blended service of both education and employment for young people aged between 14 and 24 across Birmingham and Solihull. The service is delivered by not-for-profit organisations with APM UK providing the supply chain management.
End-to-end delivery of services to people who are furthest from the labour market under the UK Government Department for Work & Pensions' flagship welfare-to-work scheme, the Work Programme. This is part financed by the European Union through the European Social Fund.
APM UK was one of only nine providers which successfully tendered for a place on the Department for Work & Pensions' Health and Disability Assessment Services Framework.
In the UK, APM’s service delivery locations are Birmingham, Coventry, Walsall, Derby, Leicester, Nottingham, Peterborough, Hackney, Lewisham, Solihull, Burton, Hanley, Newcastle-under-Lyme and Tamworth.
