Interview with Catherine - Senior Rehabilitation Consultant, Gladstone (QLD)

Q: How long have you been doing what you do (with APM and other companies)?

A: I have been working in vocational rehab for over 10 years in both Australia and the UK. I have also worked as an occupational therapist in hospitals and the community.

Q: What are you most passionate about professionally? What most excites you about your work and the contribution you can make at APM?

A: I really enjoy working with people. As a rehab consultant, I work with people in a variety of settings and I really enjoy how my role is practical. I make recommendations to overcome barriers to help people in their recovery and returning to work. The diversity of my role means that no day is ever the same.

Q: What are the best aspects about working for APM? What makes APM great?

A: The colleagues I work with make working at APM so enjoyable. Everyone is friendly. There is a great team element working in APM, even though our team is located throughout Queensland.

Q: Where can you be found when you're not working? What's your favourite way to spend a weekend or a Sunday afternoon?

A: On weekends I enjoy time with my family. I enjoy swimming and running and exploring what central Queensland has to offer.
