APM’s occupational rehabilitation superstars have shone brightly at the Australian Rehabilitation Providers Association (ARPA) State Awards Ceremonies

APM WorkCare have had eight people nominated in five categories, across five States and Territories - read the full list of nominees here.

The nominees and winners from across APM WorkCare have been recognised for their dedication to helping injured workers back into employment.

It takes exceptional people to assist people living with injury, illness, and disability – especially when facing the return to work after a life changing event.

The acknowledgement from their industry peers is a testament to the impact of their work, at all levels.

And the winners are…!

Queensland - Ashlyn Dyer

Congratulations to APM QLD State Manager for the last 10 years - Ashlyn Dyer, the recipient of the President’s Award for Outstanding Achievement!

Ashlyn has worked for APM for over 15 years and received the award in recognition of nearly two decades of service to the industry and contribution to the ARPA Council.

From the beginning of her career, Ash wanted to ensure she played an active part in helping people recover from workplace injuries and experience the health benefits of work once more.

"When I was a new graduate, I knew that I wanted to be in occupational rehabilitation because I understand how important work and being at work is" she said.

APM WorkCare General Manager Philip Paysden shared his support of Ashlyn’s win:

"Ash is a passionate professional that has dedicated so much to the occupational rehabilitation industry and enabling better lives” he said.

“We are proud to have been able to call her an APM-er for the last 15 years."

In Queensland, Ashlyn joins our coveted finalists Tim Williams for RTW Innovation, and Julia Cham for Outstanding Consultant, Same Employer.

Good things to come

APM WorkCare is no stranger to ARPA Awards ceremonies with several successes in recent years, including the National Award for Innovation in Return to Work at the 2019 ARPA Awards for the APMiQ tool.

With ceremonies yet to be held across Australia, APM looks forward to announcing more of WorkCare’s superstars as winners!
