The Australian Government’s Disability Employment Services help people with disability find work and keep a job.

In the past year, we’ve worked with more than 6,600 employers to place more than 10,000 people with disability in a new job.

Disability Employment Services are generally available to people:

  • older than 15 years of age
  • who have an injury, illness or disability
  • are not working, under employed, or at risk of losing their job 
  • keen to find work

Helping young job seekers 


APM Youth Employment Services (APM YES) delivers the NSW Government’s Youth Employment Program in the Hunter and Central Coast regions of NSW.

The program is part of the NSW Government’s $100 million Smart, Skilled and Hired initiative, which is helping young people aged 15 to 24 get the skills they need to find a job and stay at work.
The program offers tailored support plans covering life skills, accommodation and transport, training, and health and wellbeing as well as supporting the local job market.
Training, mentoring and work experience placements also are available to help young people build their skills and experience to secure lasting employment.
