When Samantha started Aussie Barista Buzz – a mobile food stand and coffee shop – earlier this year, she didn’t want to just serve coffee, she wanted to create a completely new experience.
After only a few months in business, and with the support of New Business Assistance with NEIS through us, her dream is quickly becoming a reality.
The NEIS program has been delivered by APM Employment Services since February 2020. It was previously delivered by Konekt Employment.
From 1 July 2022, Self-Employment Assistance replaced the NEIS program.
Featuring a fully equipped kitchen with oven, bain-marie and espresso machine, Aussie Barista Buzz serves up delicious breakfast, coffee and snacks each day from its location at Granton Reserve, in Granton Tasmania.
Being mobile, she can also come to your site and provide tailored catering packages for parties and functions.
For breakfast, customers can enjoy toasties, free range Tassie eggs, muffins and bacon. For lunch they have tasty burgers.
Or for coffee, Sam is the exclusive distributor of Pierro coffee in Tasmania allowing customers to enjoy the texture and taste of true Italian espresso.
She also offers a range of chai teas and hot chocolate, and milkshakes with real syrups.
Last but not least, Sam cooks a variety of homemade muffins each day.
Her muffins have been described as “the best muffins in Tassie”, and burst with flavours such as local raspberries, local cherries, strawberries, banana and white chocolate.
