APM is looking for 200 passionate people to join the APM Communities team and help improve the lives of thousands of West Australians living with disability.

As part of the NDIS Partners in the Community program, APM has been selected to deliver Local Area Coordination (LAC) services in six regions across WA.

Local Area Coordinators (LACs) carry out the services which connect people with disability, families and carers to the NDIS, and information and support in the community.

They also work with local communities and organisations to make sure services and locations are more welcoming and inclusive for people with disability.

APM is looking to hire around 200 people to deliver the service, with more than 150 Local Area Coordinator roles around the state.

We will be recruiting people to deliver LAC services from our new or expanded sites in:

  • Northam
  • Warwick
  • Joondalup
  • Fremantle
  • Success (initially at Canning Vale)
  • Armadale
  • Mandurah
  • Rockingham
  • Bunbury
  • Busselton
  • Margaret River
  • Katanning
  • Albany

Regionally, we will also be offering visiting services in the South West, Great Southern and Inner Wheatbelt (including Lancelin) so we welcome applications from across the region, not just in the towns mentioned above.
There are also a number of Team Leader, Workplace Trainer, Admin, and Manager roles available.

Group CEO Michael Anghie said APM was after motivated self-starters who wanted to make a difference to their local community.

“We are looking for passionate people who want to assist their local community to become more inclusive of people with disability,” Mr Anghie said.

APM has been helping Australians living with an injury, illness or disability for more than 24 years.

It is Australia’s largest provider of the government’s Disability Employment Services program, helping thousands of people with disability find long term jobs every year.

APM’s purpose is to enable better lives and to date it has assisted more than 1 million people.
