Job seekers with an injury, illness or disability have a better chance of finding lasting work when they join APM Employment Services, new industry figures show.
The latest industry star ratings for December 2021 reveal APM is the highest-rated provider out of the 25 largest organisations who deliver the Disability Employment Services program across Australia.
With 192 contracts to deliver the program, APM is also the largest provider of Disability Employment Services in the country.
Star ratings are published by the Department of Social Services to highlight the performance of providers.
The latest results, which look at the successful placing of job seekers into employment in each contract area, give APM an overall average of 3.93 stars.
This is the 7th consecutive (star ratings released every 3 months) star rating increase by APM.
Each contract is rated from 1 to 5 stars based on their performance. The industry average across all 1,803 contracts for the program is 3.05 stars.
In another success for APM’s national employment services team, which has supported more than 120,000 job seekers in the past two years*, more than 33% of the contracts – 64 out of 192 - were given the highest rating of 5 stars.
More than double the industry average of 15.92% contracts at 5 stars.
APM Employment Services CEO Karen Rainbow said the latest ratings show job seekers are likely to have a better chance of securing lasting employment when they choose APM.
“Our teams work hard for their participants and are dedicated to APM’s purpose of enabling better lives.
“We want every person who comes to APM for support to be able to enjoy the benefits of employment, whatever barriers they face.
“The latest star ratings are a great result for our teams across the country who really care about making a real difference in people’s lives, especially during challenging times.
“And, these star ratings are also good news for both job seekers and employers who both benefit from the Disability Employment Services program and the support we provide.”
