Provides employee assistance programs including legal, financial and training mediation, family support programs, critical incident response.
Employment services
APM’s track record delivering employment services in the UK goes back to 1997. APM has successfully expanded through both organic contract wins and acquisitions, such as Pertemps People Development Group in 2015 and Ingeus in 2018.
The main employment services in the UK are:
- Restart Scheme which provides up to 12 months of tailored support for eligible participants to find employment. Ingeus leads two of twelve regions as prime provider and is a subcontractor for Serco in an additional region.
- Connect to Work which is a voluntary programme designed to help people living with a disability, health condition or complex challenges overcome barriers to employment.
A range of other local employment programmes provide support to help people enter employment and employers to build diverse and inclusive workforces.
Health and wellbeing
Ingeus’ leads Able Futures which delivers the Access to Work Mental Health Support Service, providing up to nine months of advice, guidance and support from a mental health professional to anyone who is experiencing mental health issues that are affecting them at work.
CiC Wellbeing provides Employee Assistance Programmes and a wide range of trauma, psychological and neurodiversity services to employers and their employees in the UK and internationally.
Youth services
Ingeus delivers Positive Pathways and is one of only six providers delivering the Jobs Guarantee Pilot.
Positive Pathways is funded by the Youth Endowment Fund to provide and research outdoor learning and mentoring programmes for young people with behaviour, social skills, and wellbeing needs.
Jobs Guarantee is part of the wider Youth Jobs Guarantee and provides ready to work 18-to-21 year old candidates for fully subsidised six-month employment opportunities.
Justice services
Justice comprises a range of programmes helping people in the criminal justice system to successfully rehabilitate and reintegrate into the community. The main ones are:
Commissioned Rehabilitative Services (CRS) which provide tailored support to individuals and address areas of need associated with reoffending or provide the stabilisation that many of those under supervision need. Support covers accommodation; dependency and recovery; finance, benefits & debt; and personal wellbeing.
CFO Evolution which offers a comprehensive service for the diverse needs of people in prison and on probation to help reduce reoffending. It aims to increase engagement with mainstream services, as well as develop skills and provide practical support.
Prison Education Careers Information, Advice and Guidance which supports people in prison make informed decisions about their education and career paths.
Assessments
Ingeus delivers the Additional Healthcare Capacity Service where we recruit, train and provide management services for healthcare professionals who provide high quality and respectful assessments for thousands of people.
We also deliver the Health Assessment Advisory Service which arranges and carries our assessments to understand how an illness or disability affects a person’s daily life.
