Sarah on hiring staff transcript

Sarah: We hired Darren through APM, and he works out in the kitchen making all the burgers. We have used APM for a couple of years now. So we tell APM exactly what we need, what we’re after for that specific time, and they come back to us with candidates and applications. We go through the full interview process with them, and we go from there. We’ve taken several on from them and they’re all still with us now. They give us exactly what we need. They don’t send us what we don’t need or people that won’t be right for the job. Usually with employees, we start them on one area and we go from there. But with the one from APM we’ve just got to be willing to adapt to what they want to do and have a good line of communication with the,. And as long as we are communicating with what they can and can’t do, or how they’re going, then it all works out. I would encourage other employers to hire people with a disability. They’re reliable workers. The process is easy, especially with APM. They support u the whole way through.
