Financial Incentives

New Energy Apprentice Support – Up to $10,000

If you're training in a clean energy occupation listed on the Australian Apprenticeships Priority List, you may be eligible for:

Full-time apprentices

  • $2,000 at 6, 12, 24, 36 months and on completion

Part-time apprentices

  • $1,000 at 6, 12, 24, 36 months and on completion $1,000 at 12 months

To qualify, your apprenticeship must be in an eligible clean energy occupation and your employer must provide meaningful exposure to clean energy work.

 

Living Away from Home Allowance (LAFHA)

If you need to move away from your parent or guardian’s home to start or continue your apprenticeship, or if you're homeless, you may be eligible for:

  • $120 per week for the first 12 months
  • $90 per week for the second 12 months
  • $45 per week for the third 12 months


Apprenticeship Support Loans (AASL)

Flexible loans to help cover everyday costs like tools, transport, and living expenses. Learn more.
