The APM WorkCare Graduate Program is designed for graduates who want more than a traditional clinical pathway

Here, you’ll build your career in workplace rehabilitation while being exposed to innovative tools, digital solutions and new approaches that are shaping the future of recovery and return to work.

As part of a permanent role, you’ll develop strong rehabilitation fundamentals, while learning how innovation can improve outcomes for injured workers, employers and schemes.

A program that supports your growth

We invest heavily in your development from the outset. In your first 12 months, you’ll receive over 100 hours of structured education, supervision and mentorship, valued at over $23,000.

This support is designed to help you build strong rehabilitation fundamentals, confidently apply innovative tools, and grow your professional judgement in real‑world settings.

Your first year support includes:

  • Facilitator led inductions across health and scheme specific portfolios
  • Targeted learning through digital and face-to-face education
  • Regular 1:1 supervision and coaching with your team manager
  • Peer learning through shadowing, collaboration and case reviews
  • Additional mentoring aligned to key milestones and case complexity

This structured approach ensures you’re supported at every stage, while developing the autonomy, critical thinking and adaptability needed for a long-term career in workplace rehabilitation.

This gives you exposure to:
