As one of 84 organisations chosen to deliver services under the new contract, APM will support thousands of Australians with disability each year to find meaningful employment opportunities.

“As a long standing and high performing provider of these services, we’re excited to continue delivering services that support people with disability find meaningful work,” said Group CEO Michael Anghie.

“Since 2007, APM has assisted more than 111,000 people with disability into work, and we remain committed to empowering individuals to achieve their employment goals.

“With 404 sites across 73 Employment Service Areas (ESA), we will continue to work closely with individuals to understand their aspirations and connect them with opportunities through our strong local networks under the new Inclusive Employment Australia program.

“Our deep understanding of local labour markets - and our long-standing relationships with local businesses and community groups - means we’re well placed to match job seekers with the right opportunities.”

Inclusive Employment Australia will replace the Disability Employment Services (DES) program from 1 November 2025

It introduces more funding, more tailored support, and greater accountability for providers - with a strong focus on lived experience, staff training, and employer engagement.

APM welcomes the program’s emphasis on personalised support and inclusion, and looks forward to continuing its work in empowering people with disability to participate fully in the workforce and community.
