Julie: It means everything to me. I've wanted to work for so long, and it wasn't until I went to APM that I realized that it could happen.

My name is Julie. I'm 63 years of age, and my disability is I have a couple of tears in my tendon, in my right arm, and also in my shoulder.

I get my Centrelink payments and basically that covers the mortgage, and there's actually nothing left for food.

When I came into the APM office, I was really negative. I felt all anxious and worked up, really. She reassured me that she was actually going to help me. One of the things I said I would do was a traffic controller. I've got my induction next Tuesday. I can't wait for that first wage slip. I'm going to do a dance!
