Meet Sharon transcript

Sharon: It's given me my self-esteem back. I feel like I'm a new person. I love it. I really, really do. I'm Sharon. I'm 53 years old. I have a injury to my left hand. When I do go for interviews, as soon as I tell them that I did an injury at work, they just turn around and say, "You're a liability. I don't want to take the chance." And it really hurts. I got introduced to APM and they there to help me, from day one.

Kerrilee: We did interview skills training. We purchased her interview clothing, and just helped her get her confidence up, and then matched her with an employer that I knew would be supportive.

Brad: She helps with our clients' bags. She checks them in, shows them to their seats, when they go on the Prospector. Employing people with a disability, for us, gives us a chance to give something back to the community, but also allows us to differentiate ourselves by creating these opportunities.

Sharon: They're wonderful people to work with. The passengers, you can laugh with them. I just really love it, I really do. I really belong there.
