APM are a new partner of Western Australian All Abilities Football Association (WAAAFA) as the presenting sponsor of the WAAAFA State Teams.

These teams will compete at the AFL National Inclusion Carnival (AFL Inclusion) starting on 5 November 2002 in South Australia and the 2022 Toyota Wheelchair AFL National Championship on 22 November 2022 in Victoria.

“APM's partnership will assist in elevating the event for prospects as they progress in their footballing journey,” said Hayden Marchetto, Executive Officer at WAAAFA.

“These AFL sanctioned competitions also provides people living with a disability a chance to get involved in high level organised sport, as well as providing a community and social environment”.

Group CEO Michael Anghie said APM’s support of these WAAAFA teams will allow the teams to participate in national competitions amongst Australia’s most talented footballers, showcasing the significant abilities of footballers with an intellectual disability to the broader community.

“The WAAAFL programs and competitions not only give people with disability the opportunity to play footy, but also improves disability acceptance, understanding, and inclusion in community and WAFL Clubs and even AFL Clubs,” Mr Anghie said.

This is the latest partnership for APM and sits alongside other inclusive sport sponsorships across Australia.

APM Employment Services is a foundation sponsor of the SANFL Inclusive League helping people with intellectual disability enjoy competitive footy in South Australia.

Earlier this year APM and Hockey Australia also announced a three-year partnership.

APM is shirt sponsor of the Hockeyroos, official partner of the Kookaburras, and Hockey Australia’s partner for disability services.

APM is working with Hockey Australia to bring inclusive sport to people with disability and players of all ability in communities across the country.
