We are committed to providing high-quality, respectful, and inclusive services for all Inclusive Employment Australia participants.

On this page, you’ll find our official Code of Conduct and Service Guarantee.

These documents outline what you can expect from us, and what we expect from you, to ensure a positive and supportive experience.

Code of Conduct

The Inclusive Employment Australia Code of Conduct is a set of rules that everyone providing disability services must follow.

It helps protect your rights, safety, and wellbeing. The Code requires us to:

  • Respect your rights, privacy, and choices.
  • Provide services safely, with care and skill.
  • Act with honesty, integrity, and transparency.
  • Respond quickly to concerns about your safety or service quality.
  • Prevent and respond to any form of violence, exploitation, neglect, abuse, or sexual misconduct.

Service Guarantee

The Inclusive Employment Australia Service Guarantee explains what you can expect from us as your provider. We promise to:

  • Treat you fairly, respectfully, and in a culturally sensitive way.
  • Help you search for work and build your skills.
  • Clearly explain our services and your rights.
  • Support you to make your own choices and build a trusting relationship.
  • Communicate in ways that suit your needs, including providing interpreters if needed.

You can also find information about your responsibilities, privacy, and how to give feedback or make a complaint in the Service Guarantee.

What is Inclusive Employment Australia?

Inclusive Employment Australia is the new name for Disability Employment Services (DES).

It is an employment program to help Australians with a disability, injury, or health condition, prepare for, find, and succeed in a job.

If you're eligible for Inclusive Employment Australia, we work with you to tailor your support to meet your specific needs. It may include helping you:

  • prepare for joining the workforce
  • train in specific job skills
  • write resumes and job applications
  • boost your interview skills
  • look for fulfilling and suitable jobs
  • meet local employers
  • access health or other local support services

When you start working we may also help you with:

  • on-the-job training
  • access to uniforms, tools or equipment
  • speaking to your boss and co-workers
  • ongoing support in your job
  • modifying your workplace
