Sean EC video transcript

Once I got to know APM, they were really good. They understood what my barriers, I guess, into employment were, and they were really good to help me find something that was suitable for helping out with the way my Crohn's works.

At we like to focus on their strengths so that their employment can be maintained and then help them along the way if they need extra help. At the initial appointment we will ask questions just a bit about what their hobbies are, what their interests are, and what they see themselves doing. That gives us a good picture of sort of what businesses to target and that's so we can put them in a job that doesn't just tick the box, it also puts them in a role that's suitable and sustainable for them.

I actually sat down and I felt like my voice was heard from my perspective as to what I was after and what I needed from an employment agency. And APM always put me first rather than themselves. With APM it's been absolutely fantastic. Every week or fortnight I was getting phone calls, making sure everything was going okay. If I needed any help or I needed, you know, anything from them they were there for me and they still continue to be there for me which is, you know, I couldn't ask for anything more from an employment provider.

At APM we look to nurture people who feel like they don't have any worth. Society makes them feel like that, and with a lot of positive reinforcement I think dreams can be made.
