When you’re referred for assessments, training or a return to work program, your health and safety is our main priority

If you've been injured at work, you're entitled to rehabilitation services and you may be referred to APM for a return to work program.

Your employer may also refer you to us for injury prevention or workplace training. This includes manual handling training, ergonomic assessments and worksite assessments.

APM WorkCare has locations in every state and territory across Australia and we specialise in helping businesses keep their employees safe and well.

When you need Return to Work services

If you have experienced a workplace injury, we work with you, your employer and other support services to get you back on track

Your health and safety is our main priority. We provide a respectful, positive and personalised service, designed for you.

Your dedicated APM WorkCare consultant will maintain regular contact with you and all other key parties so all information about your recovery is shared.

This includes working closely with your doctors and other health practitioners.

As your rehabilitation services are delivered we carry out regular reviews and track your progress against agreed milestones.

Our return to work program includes both same employer and new employer services.

Part of your personalised program may include a functional capacity evaluation to check your physical ability to carry out job tasks. You may also benefit from vocational assessment and an ergonomic workstation assessment.

Workers’ compensation and insurance

As an employee in Australia, if you become injured you’re covered by a workers’ compensation scheme, with access to rehabilitation services to help you recover.
