Empowering veterans: APM WorkCare's comprehensive rehabilitation support

APM WorkCare recognises the unique physical and psychosocial challenges veterans have encountered through active service and as they transition to civilian life.

Our dedicated team of rehabilitation consultants is committed to providing extensive support to empower veterans to take ownership of their health and wellbeing, and facilitate a seamless integration into civilian communities.

Veteran-centric services

With a focus on comprehensive care, APM WorkCare's team possesses an in-depth understanding of the veteran experience.

Our consultants across the country are well-equipped to assist veterans and their families, offering support wherever and whenever needed.

Tailored support programs

Eligible veterans can access personalised support programs, encompassing assistance with sourcing health professionals, understanding medical information, self-care needs, pain management and access to aids and appliances for recovery.

An integral part of our approach involves veteran-specific psychosocial interventions to help veterans self-manage accepted conditions. This includes a focus on strengths, life management skills, family functioning, social connectedness, health literacy and meaningful engagement within the community.

Career transition support

APM WorkCare specialises in helping veterans bring their skills into civilian employment through retraining programs, work trials, and job placement support.

Our experienced consultants assist veterans in setting new career goals, translating skills, personal branding, and adapting to the civilian workplace.

Leveraging established connections in local communities, APM WorkCare provides tailored support to uncover the right job opportunities.

Mental Health First Aid expertise

At APM WorkCare, we are committed to ensuring every veteran receives safe, informed and empathetic support throughout their journey with us.

To uphold this commitment, all consultants working with veteran clients hold current Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) accreditation.

This ensures our team is equipped to recognise mental health concerns early, respond with confidence, and connect individuals with appropriate care.

Maintaining this accreditation reflects our dedication to evidence‑based practice and our belief that veterans deserve support from professionals who truly understand the complexities of mental health.

We encourage anyone involved in veteran support to take advantage of free mental health and suicide prevention training, building practical skills that can make a meaningful difference in someone’s life.

Veteran Mental Health Protect Pledge Campaign

At APM WorkCare we are committed to empowering veterans at every stage of their transition, ensuring they find fulfilling civilian careers while addressing their health and wellbeing needs.
