Adam Tide started the New Business Assistance with NEIS program with a goal to go out on his own as a real estate agent.
He had already built a successful career as an agent for the biggest agency group in the Australasian region, and felt it was time to give it a go himself.
The NEIS program has been delivered by APM Employment Services since February 2020. It was previously delivered by Konekt Employment.
From 1 July 2022, Self-Employment Assistance replaced the NEIS program.
He registered Crystal Clear Real Estate because he wanted his point of difference to be his ethics and transparency in working for his customers, something he felt was not always evident in the real estate arena.
He produced a transparent card that represented his Crystal Clear brand and set about building his website and building on his relationships in the marketplace.
“Getting listings was tough in the beginning as I was the new kid on the block,” Adam said.
“I was determined to build a successful business for myself and my family the same as I had done for others that I had worked for. There were a couple of people who were waiting for me to go out on my own as they wanted me to sell their homes but it is still difficult competing against the established brands.”
Not only did Adam get listings, he recently made a record sale on the Central Coast and has gained a lot of credibility through the local newspaper Central Coast Advocate who reported:
“A waterfront property in Green Point has recently sold prior to auction for $2.725 million, smashing the suburb record by $165,000. The home which was sold by Adam Tide from Crystal Clear Erina, was purchased by a Sydney family with 19 grandchildren…”
When he commenced business Adam was aware of the lead times to expect in making the sale and getting a commission. He saw the NEIS program as the perfect platform to help him get started and a great way to network and provide him with cross marketing opportunities through other NEIS businesses on the Coast.
After a few short months, Adam’s business is fast becoming a contender in the competitive world of real estate on the Central Coast. He has recently branched into property management to service his investment client base.
Continuing to make regular sales, Crystal Clear Real Estate is fast becoming the 'go-to' name for real estate on the Central Coast.
