APM WorkCare is proud to be partnering with Fortem Australia, providing sponsored workshops for Australia’s law enforcement, national security and first-responder communities.

Fortem Australia is a not-for-profit organisation that works to improve the mental health and wellbeing of Australia’s first responder families.

They focus on wellbeing forged through connection, offering social connection activities designed to strengthen mental and emotional health while building protective factors. These activities are evidence-based and are designed to complement existing programs already in place.

Fortem also offer psychology support for those first responder families involved in the Black Summer bushfires.

APM WorkCare’s first workshop focused on Leadership & Coaching Through Difficult Conversations, with a second session being run upon request from Fortem Australia participants.

Some great feedback included:

“The presentation was clear and concise I think ACTP members will like that will find it really helpful to have something they can apply. I look forward to future events. I really enjoyed the session. Thanks for having me!”

If you are a first responder in NSW, VIC, ACT or SE QLD and would like to know about upcoming events, please contact Fortem, or subscribe to their newsletter.
