A dedicated employment consultant will get to know your situation, your goals when it comes to work and any challenges you might be facing in your job search.

Then they'll work closely with you to develop an individualised job plan.

Your Workforce Australia Services provider can help you with things like:

  • Career advice and mentoring
  • Work experience opportunities including Work for the Dole
  • Employment skills training and education
  • Funding for work-related licences and micro-credentials like a white card
  • Writing and tailoring your resume
  • Applying for jobs and preparing for job interviews
  • Using digital services and meeting your obligations

What's the difference between Workforce Australia Services and Online?

Workforce Australia Online is an online portal where you can self-manage your job search.

On the Workforce Australia website and app you'll find information, tools and resources to help you prepare for work, find a job and manage your Centrelink obligations.

You can also get phone or email support from the Digital Services Contact Centre (DSCC).

If you want or need extra support, you can access Enhanced Services through APM or another Workforce Australia provider in your local area.

As an Enhanced Services participant, you'll still have access to all the information, tools and resources online. You'll additionally get face-to-face, individualised support from your provider.
