Young people in Worcestershire are being encouraged to make a drama out of an interview, thanks to a new partnership between the National Citizen Service (NCS) youth programme and White Socks Theatre.
The partnership is seeing White Socks Theatre providing theatre and interactive workshops to the hundreds of 16 and 17 year olds taking part in the NCS programme in Worcestershire this summer.
Young people are being given the opportunity to develop interview skills and build their CV.
Katy Rooke, Director of White Socks Theatre says; "We are really excited to be working with young people from diverse backgrounds during the NCS summer programme.
"Similarly to NCS we aim to offer young people experiences that they may not have had access to before or taught in class, so we believe this partnership will be a perfect fit.
She continues: "We are running workshops that include forum theatre, a technique that will allow participants to shape and influence also sorts of actions to produce a successful interview outcome.
"The CV building section gives young people the opportunity to explore and identify their own unique skills, recognise transferable skills and use them to sell themselves through their CV's."
NCS is a two to four week programme that takes place for 16-17 year olds during the school holidays, where teenagers learn new skills by going on outward bound activities, meeting new friends from different backgrounds and creating social action projects to benefit their local community.

"This partnership will be a brilliant opportunity for young people participating on NCS in Worcester to get creative, think outside the box and learn how to prepare themselves for the next steps in their life by bridging the gap between adolescence and adulthood."
