Airservices Australia and APM WorkCare transcript

Hailey: My name's Hailey, and I am the service delivery manager at APM WorkCare. APM WorkCare provide a variety of services to Airservices Australia, ergonomic assessments, early intervention services for both compensable and non-compensable injuries, onsite debriefing, we can provide critical incident services, debriefing for psychological injuries, one-to-one psychological counselling, and we also provide return to work services under the Comcare scheme.

Mark: We have a strong partnership with APM WorkCare. One of the key things for us is our national presence, and they are able to provide support to all regional areas where we have airports. They're mainly involved in undertaking rehabilitation support for our injured workers. That involves return to work programs. They also do ergonomic assessments for us and heavily involved right across the country in helping us with education and support for psychological safety and support for our staff.

Hailey: Early intervention services for persons who are suffering with ill mental health is incredibly important, as we're providing matched care for that person at a point in time that they really need it. Generally, by the point that somebody has reached out for help, the symptoms that they're experiencing are quite impactful on their day-to-day life.

Mark: It's key that we get people assisted early on with their injury support and getting those injured workers back to work, feeling good about themselves and confident that they can do their jobs, and APM are tremendous at doing that.

Hailey: The benefit of working with a large company such as Airservices Australia is that it gives us the opportunity to really intimately get to know our customer, and also work collaboratively to identify really good solutions that are going to be impactful for their business. That is really great for us, because it means we get to keep our staff engaged, but also it's just great to work with a like-minded team at Airservices Australia, who are really striving for the same goals that we are, to keep people engaged and empowered within their jobs and hopefully have them healthily at work.

Mark: Their service delivery is top quality. We enjoy dealing with their consultants across the country. Their management team are superb. They answer all our needs and we couldn't be happy with them. We would recommend APM WorkCare to any provider.
