Which assessment should I request?

Standard workstation assessment

Tailored towards reviewing the workstation and work area of an employee who may have minimal symptoms, i.e. one pain symptom or discomfort.

A formal report is provided to Optus.

Cost: $370.32 GST exclusive (fixed fee, per assessment).

Comprehensive ergonomic workstation assessment

Suitable for:

Employees who have identified the need for a sit/stand workstation
Employees who may have multiple symptoms present and may have had a previous ergonomic review completed at NDIA
Employees who have identified medical issues that may be a precursor to a potential claim

A formal report is provided to Optus.

Cost: $423.22 GST exclusive (fixed fee, per assessment).

Ergonomic sweep

A workstation assessment via a 'checklist' method to focus on correct workstation set up, identify seating and standing desk heights, monitor heights and chair set up.

These assessments are for five or more staff, i.e. new starters or due to staff relocations.

Education on good ergonomic practices and equipment recommendations made as required.

The checklist is left with the employee to refer back to, no formal report is provided to Optus.

Cost: $70.54 GST exclusive (fixed fee, per assessment - minimum of five).

Travel

Assessments are able to be combined at one location on one day so that only one travel fee is charged.
