APM today announced it had entered into an agreement to acquire Ingeus Group.

Ingeus is a leading international provider of government sponsored employment programs and people-based services.

Ingeus operates in countries including the United Kingdom; USA (trading as Ross Innovative Employment Solutions); Canada (trading as WCG Services); South Korea; Australia (trading as Assure Programs); Germany; Switzerland; Singapore; and Spain.

Together, APM and Ingeus Group will employ over 5,500 people globally, operate in 10 countries, and support over 350,000 people to improve their lives each year in programs which deliver assessment, allied health, psychology, vocational rehabilitation and employment assistance services across the key sectors of health, disability, ageing, defence, employment, justice, youth, apprenticeships, skills and training.

Mr Michael Anghie, Group CEO, APM said: “There is strong alignment between APM and Ingeus. Both of our organisations are purpose-led with a commitment to strong values, helping people lead successful and fulfilling lives, and offering great opportunities and careers for our team members.

“Ingeus and APM together will be the leading, mission-driven specialist in people-related services.  Around the world, governments are facing many challenges such as ageing populations, increasing mental health issues, pressured health budgets, migration and integration, and technology that is changing job opportunities. Some important solutions to these challenges relate to work, health and behaviour change, which is what Ingeus and APM both do really well.”

The acquisition is subject to regulatory and contractual approvals which are anticipated to be completed within approximately four weeks.
