Four members of the APM WorkCare team have been listed as finalists of the ARPA Workplace Rehabilitation Awards.
Lee Purkiss is a finalist in the award for Outstanding Return to Work Achievement in the ARPA ACT Awards which will be held in Canberra on Friday 21 September.
In New South Wales, Carolyn Bell is a finalist for the Exceptional Leadership award and both Dylan Slater and Sam Rooney are going head to head with nominations for the Innovation in Return to Work Award.
The Australian Rehabilitation Providers Association (ARPA) Awards help celebrate the talents and achievements of professionals in workplace rehabilitation who are committed to success in all aspects of service provision through return to work outcomes and injury management.
APM WorkCare General Manager Philip Paysden praised the efforts of the four finalists.
“I am delighted to see four great APM-ers as finalists in the ARPA ACT and ARPA NSW Awards – I already know the great work that they do and am pleased that recognition via this award process means more and more people learn of their achievements and dedication,” he said.
“The job they do is a tough one, and it’s great to see them not only excel within APM but also be recognised amongst their peers, I wish them all well for the finals.”

The ARPA ACT 2018 Excellence in Workplace Rehabilitation Awards will be held at QT Canberra on Friday 21 September 2018.
Winners of the ARPA NSW Awards will be announced at the ARPA National Awards, which will be held on Monday 12 November 2018, at Doltone House, Hyde Park.
