Attending the IntoWork Convention in Birmingham this week, APM Executive Chairman, Bob Leach, is expected to announce details later today of a ground-breaking partnership with Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health Foundation Trust.

Through collective hard work and willingness to enable better lives, APM have together delivered IAPT services (otherwise known as: Improving Access to Psychological Therapies) in our Work Programme sites in Birmingham and the Black Country, helping jobseekers suffering from anxiety and depression.

It is the only partnership between a Mental Health Trust and a Work Programme provider of its type within the UK.

Mr Leach said: "Jobseekers in Birmingham and the Black Country now have access to the best in class condition management, health coaching, and talking therapies through the NHS. They are delivered by specialist healthcare professionals working side by side with our Health & Work coaches."

APM will be giving people with health conditions and disabilities the opportunity to move into sustainable employment, with employers that are greatly benefitting from their new recruits.
