EFFRR is delighted to announce the appointment of a brand new chair and a host of new employers to its expanded leadership team.
Roisin Currie, Group People Director, takes over from James Timpson who stands down after more than five years to assume a new position as chair of the Prison Reform Trust.
"I'm honoured to be announced as Chair of this fantastic Forum," said Roisin, a longstanding member of the leadership team.
"I have learned a lot from my time working closely with James during the past few years and look forward to putting that experience to good use as we seek to grow and develop the Forum."
The EFFRR leadership team has been boosted by the addition of a number of new members, representing a variety of different sectors.
They include Ink2Work, headed by Terry Herbert: "Ex-offenders represent a terrific available talent pool, which EFFRR can help employers to access.
"We are aware of the great progress that EFFRR has made, in promoting the employment and training of ex-offenders in the past few years and are excited to now be a part of it."
Ink2Work will be joined by representatives from Amey, Cracked IT Census Data Group, Reed, Recycling Lives, Land Securities, Chrysalis Partnership and Wilmott Dixon.
"We passionately believe in giving people a second chance and are delighted to join a forum that brings together many other likeminded organisations," said Alison Symmers, Head of the Wilmott Dixon Foundation.
The Employers' Forum for Reducing Reoffending is a forum comprised of forward thinking employers committed to the recruitment and training of ex-offenders. Chaired by Roisin Currie of Greggs, the Forum is managed by employment and training experts, APM.
