APM has partnered with Hockey Australia as a sponsor of the national women's and men's teams since 2022.

As part of the partnership, APM is:

  • Major Partner sponsorship and front-of-shirt sponsors, of the female Hockeyroos squad
  • Official Partner of the male Kookaburras squad
  • Hockey Australia’s Exclusive Category Partner - Disability Service Provider

The partnership is providing exciting developments for all-ability and inclusive hockey sessions for families and players around Australia.

Hockey Australia and APM also together launched an Inclusive Hookin2Hockey Handbook for coaches in supporting the inclusion of people with disability, First Nations people, the LGBTQ+ community, and culturally and linguistically diverse people.

Hockey for All x Hookin2Hockey Clinic

Players of all abilities have been getting training with Hockey Australia’s superstars through a series of inclusive clinics.

APM Ambassador and Australian Paralympic legend Ellie Cole even swapped the pool for the pitch to join young players for a clinic with the Perth Thundersticks.

“Nothing will humble you more than five-year-old kids running circles around you. But in saying that, nothing warmed my heart more than taking a step back to see a fully inclusive sports program,” Ellie said.

“Thanks to Hockey WA and Hockey Australia for leading the charge on this one. It’s a day we’ll never forget.”

The clinic not only provided a platform for children to learn and play hockey but also emphasised the importance of inclusivity in sports.

The Hockeyroos are one of Australia's most successful national women's sports teams.

Renowned for a golden generation through the 1990s and early 2000s, the Hockeyroos dominated world hockey during this period.

They won back-to-back gold medals at the 1996 and 2000 Olympic Games and the 1994 and 1998 World Cups as well as five consecutive Champions Trophy titles.

Since 2012 the Hockeyroos have remained among the world's best, regularly challenging for podium places at major events.
