APM employment consultant Katelyn Benham doesn’t just enable better lives – she helps save them.

Katelyn, a member of APM’s Mt Barker team, has been nominated for a Pride of Australia Award for her outstanding efforts and contribution with the SA Country Fire Service.

The Country Fire Service is a big part of Katelyn’s life and she has been praised for her dedication and “countless hours of work”.

Katelyn told the Sunday Mail how her time as a firefighter and seeing first-hand the devastating impact of fires on local families helped her to see the resilience of people in her community.

Something she has also seen in her job as an employment consultant with APM.

Katelyn is no stranger to fighting battles after she underwent nine months of chemotherapy to treat Hodgkin’s lymphoma.

The 2018 Pride of Australia Award winners will be announced in December.
