APM is the proud headline sponsor of this year's IntoWork convention which is being held at the International Convention Centre, Birmingham, 11/12 July, 2016.

The event, now in its second decade, remains the flagship gathering of deliverers and opinion-formers in the employment and employability sector, built around an unparalleled range of breakout sessions, debates, and major keynote plenaries.

The IntoWork convention 2016 convenes against a complex backdrop. The government will commission a single Work and Health Programme and the sector is faced with challenges of delivering as public expenditure is ever more tightly controlled.

In the coming months, the employability sector will operate in an increasingly devolved context with new accountabilities going to city regions and combined authorities alongside growing demand for labour and a desire to reduce welfare costs.

IntoWork 2016 will have a strong focus on 'what works' and on understanding the evidence base about the UK labour market context and delivering in it. The Convention will set out real world best practice from across the UK and beyond and focus on three key themes:

An APM spokesperson said: "APM UK is a hugely diverse and agile business that continues to establish and successfully deliver skills, justice, health, youth and employability provision, wherever it is needed most.

"It is a business with a track record of listening to the needs of local people, of successfully integrating services and consistently delivering the best outcomes and performance."

The convention is aimed at all those working in the fields of: employment, skills, health and wellbeing, criminal justice, housing, continuous learning and further education.
