APM has been approved to deliver Original Employer Services and New Employer Services, which are designed to help injured employees recover from a workplace injury and return to work as quickly as possible.

Services APM has been contracted to provide include:

  • Better at Work: Services for workers who are employed by a small or medium-sized employer who have been identified as having a higher risk of not returning to work within the first six months of a claim;
  • Workplace Support Services: Services recognised by WorkSafe Victoria for a mental injury claim where a workplace relationship issue is a barrier to returning to work;
  • New Employer Services: Services to assist workers return to work with a new employer; and
  • 130-week vocational assessments: Assessments provided as part of the review process to determine workers' payments.

APM Group Chief Executive Officer, Michael Hobday said APM is well equipped to deliver a range of services as part of the reappointment.

"APM's team of allied health professionals in Victoria has the experience and expertise to continue to deliver exceptional return-to-work outcomes," he said.

"APM is pleased to have been given the opportunity to keep up our successful partnership with WorkSafe Victoria which enables us to continue to help employers, as well as workers who are injured or who have an illness."

WorkSafe Victoria is the Victorian WorkCover Authority's manager of occupational health and safety, administering workers' compensation and helping injured workers to return to the workforce.

APM's reappointment to deliver these services is for three years.
