The NESA Awards for Excellence celebrate outstanding contributions across the employment services sector, recognising professionals, employers, and job seekers who have demonstrated innovation, resilience, and impact in advancing employment inclusion.

Judi’s work has transformed not only individual journeys but also the systems that support inclusive employment across Australia.

Judi’s leadership has been instrumental in shaping culturally safe and community-led employment services.

As CEO of First Sun Employment, a First Nations-owned provider partnered with APM, Judi has championed co-designed programs that reflect the voices and strengths of local communities.

Her innovative work, including the rollout of The Body Shop’s Open Hiring model and the “Seasons” series with Spartan First, has opened doors for thousands of job seekers.

Her impact is felt nationally, from mentoring emerging Indigenous leaders to influencing policy and service design through the Workforce Australia program.

Judi’s commitment to equity and inclusion is evident in every initiative she leads - whether it’s delivering cultural learning workshops, building partnerships with Indigenous organisations, or advocating for systemic change.

This recognition shows Judi’s unwavering purpose: helping people in the community thrive through meaningful employment.

Congratulations, Judi!

Your passion, leadership, and dedication embody everything we stand for at APM.

Winners will be announced at the Gala Awards Dinner, held in conjunction with the NESA National Conference later this year.
