An APM Employment Services team member and a job program participant have been named finalists at this year’s National Employment Services Association (NESA) awards.

APM’s Sarina Isles is a finalist for the Excellence in Indigenous Employment award which is presented to individuals or teams who help Indigenous Australians achieve employment.

Sarina has been nominated due to her outstanding work and results achieved in the Adelaide North team.

Meanwhile former job seeker Abu Zahih Wahidi, who found work through APM Employment Services, has been named a finalist for the Achiever of the Year award.

Abu was supported by APM’s Merrylands team in NSW and was nominated for the award due to the extraordinary disadvantage he has overcome to achieve employment.

The awards will be presented at the NESA Gala Awards Dinner on Tuesday 13 August in Melbourne.
