APM’s Employment Services and WorkCare teams have raised $14,000 for Aussie families after successfully servicing 1,000 participants and clients in four weeks.
As part of a festive campaign to support The Salvation Army Christmas Appeal, APM donated $14 for every individual who received services by the two teams.
The combined target for both teams was to help 1,000 people from 25 November to 20 December.
APM Employment Services provide support to job seekers across Australia, many who face barriers to work such as long-term unemployment, mental health issues or an injury, illness or disability.
APM WorkCare deliver a range of services for organisations and their employees, including injury management and return to work programs to help injured workers get back to their jobs.
The Salvation Army’s Peter Nankeris dropped by APM to pick up the cheque for $14,000 from APM Employment Services CEO Karen Rainbow.
The donation will help families and individuals in need by providing meals, hampers and vouchers.
It is the second donation to help Australians in need of support this year after APM donated $15,000 last month to help people affected by bushfires.
